This man is called Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP, Abba Kyari
Criminals and gangsters shiver at the mention of his name and the reason is not far fetched: Abba Kyari is the finest cop in this country at the moment.
Abba Kyari is the head of Inspector-General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team, IRT, and under his watch, the deadly criminal vampire terrorizing my people in the east was traced to his hide out and killed by Abba and his men just few months ago.
Few days ago, Abba led his men to arrest the most wanted richest Kidnapper and criminal Evans.
If not for Abba and his men, Evans had perfected plans to escape to South Africa that evening but he was traced to his palatial bedroom at Magado GRA yesterday afternoon through signals from his phones.
Apart from his success as the head of the head of Inspector-General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team, IRT, Abba Kyari led the team that helped when the mother of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, then finance minister was abducted in Ogwuashi-Uku in Delta state. Jide Ojo, better known as Marvelous, Buhari Hamadola, Hassan Oseni, Micheal Ojeabulu,Endurance Eke and Ibrahim Abubakar were all arrested.
As a result of his hard work and brilliance, Abba was promoted to the rank of an Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP, at the beginning of this year and he is the youngest ACP currently in active service.
At 41, Abba Kyari is not just the youngest high-ranking police officer in Nigeria, but one of the most hardworking. According to those that knows him well, they said he is over competent.
Kyari, a 1997 Geography graduate of the University of Maiduguri, popularly called UNIMAID, has many reasons to be grateful and one of them is that he is the new face of Nigerian police force.
Many Nigerians have given on our police institution and their reasons for giving up on them are valid but because Abba choose to be different and inspire us , our hope is rekindled that Nigerian police is not finished and that all hope is not lost.
Keep inspiring sir!
