Nigeria’s former health minister, Babatunde Osotimehin, has been reported dead in some hours ago, yesterday. Aged 68.
He was the former health minister between December 2008 and March 2010.
The late 68-year-old was the executive director of the United Nations Population Fund, UNFPA and dedicated to gender, youth and maternal health issues until his death.
UNFPA reported that the former health minister’s death was announced at the Nigerian office of the UN body on Monday morning.
