Legendary World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Floyd Mayweather, will on the 13th of June, feature in a charity fight against former Big Brother Naija, BBN, housemate, Triple T in Lagos state. 

The match has already been officially confirmed to hold at the earlier said date, Wednesday. 

The Chairman of Zzini Media, (who are also the promoters of the event), Donatus Okonkwo, informed the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, that the Mayweather would engage Triple T in a charity match, and its scheduled for at the Civic Centre, Lagos. 

“The boxing match between Floyd and Triple T is a charity-focused event that will bring under one roof entertainers and sports people.

“Having Floyd Mayweather in Nigeria is a privilege and we are going to do everything possible to ensure that his presence impacts the lives of the people particularly the less privileged.

“Hosting such an event that connects our youths with global icons will boost their morale that will in turn help them channel their strength in the right direction,” he said.

Triple T who had claimed to be in high spirit, he boasted that he would defeat the boxing legend in the first round of the bout.

He said: “Nobody gets beaten in his home; so, I am going to make history by defeating the champion with a few punches.”

NAN reports that Zzini Media will be the host of the famous world boxing champion and boss of The Money Team (TTT), Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr, in Nigeria and Ghana for his hospitality and mentoring tour.

The African tour which is billed to kick off from June 12 to June 14, will include Federal Capital Territory, Lagos, Akwa Ibom and Anambra States after which the next point of call will be in Accra, Ghana.
