British Prime Minister Theresa May went to meet Queen Elizabeth II to ask permission to form a minority government. After meeting the Queen, May said she will form a government to provide stability and lead Britain out of the EU

May said she can rely in parliament on the support of her “friends” in Northern Ireland’s Democratic Unionist Party after her ruling Conservatives failed to win a majority.

“We will continue to work with our friends and allies in the Democratic Unionist Party in particular,” she said.
