President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday met with the leadership of the National Assembly over the security situation in Benue State and other parts of the country.

The meeting, which held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, was being attended by the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Yakubu Dogara.

The Presidency explained via its Twitter handle that President Buhari called the meeting to brief the National Assembly leadership on efforts by the Federal Government in securing Benue and other states across the country.
